Hello and welcome to my 100th post!
Before we get started with the DIY Party Decoration roundup, I just want to say THANK YOU to all of my readers out there. There might not be many of you, but it makes me feel wonderful and proud to have my own little space, however small, in the crafting blogosphere. It's cheesey, but I couldn't have done it without you. (Really!) My hope is that by reading about my crafting successes and failures here you feel inspired to try it yourself. So here's to the next 100 posts!
And now, to celebrate, bring on the DIY Party ideas! So, put on your party hats...
And follow me after the jump for a whole lotta party decoration ideas! :)
You can't have a party without balloons. This room filled to the brim with balloons just screams "party" to me. But filling balloons with helium can be kind of expensive.
To achieve a similar look for less, try hanging balloons upside down from the ceiling like these folks did:
I'm loving the way these balloons hung all in a row look almost like a garland (and if you look very closely, they're full of money!):
Speaking of garlands, check out these cute party-worthy pennants, garlands and streamers:
I absolutely adore these colored paper cones all strung together on a strand of twinkle lights. They double as a decoration and a place to hide candies:
And what about these cute pennant cake toppers that I've been seeing everywhere lately? Love 'em!
If pennants aren't your thing, maybe you'll like these DIY seam binding chandeliers and cake stand:
And don't forget the flowers!
